Dr. Gianna and the staff here are one of the greatest resources for active duty and retired veterans fur family members. Their prices are very low, and they don’t try to upsell any services not needed.

If you live in or near Columbia, SC, you know that getting good veterinary care for your dog at reasonable prices is a real challenge; and this is one of many reasons that makes being able to access the Vet Clinic at Fort Jackson such a significant retirement benefit. Despite the fact that the Clinic is always busy, the staff are friendly and professional, and they really seem to care about the animals they treat. The pricing for medications and services is reasonable (and it highlights how much the local civilian vet practices are fleecing their clients with inflated, completely unreasonable fees).

I will forever be thankful for this clinic! A few weeks ago I called this clinic and all military vet clinics within a 4 hour drive from me to see who can do my pet’s health certificate. None were available including this clinic. And then a couple weeks later I get a call from Fort Jackson vet letting me know they have an availability opening up to do my pet’s health certificate. I was so surprised and grateful that they remembered that I was looking for someone to do a health certificate. Apparently they keep a list of who needs one done and gives them a call if they have openings. The staff and Dr. Laws are very kind. Highly recommend this clinic!
